I briefly worked on the animated movie that was based on the old popular Belgian comics! I worked on lighting and look development of the main character and some street scenes. It was interesting working with this sort hyperrealistic animated style, and it was fascinating to see how creepy Tintin could look when his eyes became too human-like, so a lot of work went into avoiding the Uncanny Valley effect. It was also fun listening to Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson discussing the movie during dailies!
